- How to Get to TomSawyer Rafting Base Site
- Tomsawyer Adventure's Hozu River rafting base site is located in Kyoto Kameoka city with easy access from Kyoto station. It takes only 25 minutes from Kyoto station to JR Umahori station by JR Sanin Line. Our rafting base site is at 150 meters East of JR Umahori station. If you are coming by car, set your car navigation system to Tram Kameoka station. Our rafting base site is at 100 West of Tram Kameoka station.

- By JR Railways
- From Kyoto station to UR Umahori Station it takes 25 minutes. It only stops “local” trains. (Ltd. Express or Express train do not stop at Umahori Station, please take local trains.) From JR Umahori Station, please walk towards Tram Kameoka Station for 4 minutes.
- By Sagano Romantic Train (Tram Train)
- If you are coming by tram train, please get off at the terminal Tram Kameoka Station. From Tram Kameoka station please walk towards JR Umahori Station for 3 minutes.
- Driving Directions
- If you are coming by car, set your car navigation system to Tram Kameoka station. Exit Shino IC on Kyoto Jukando and go straight to the end until you hit Route 9, and turn left (there is a shopping mall on your left Southwest corner). Turn right the first traffic light at Nojo intersection (there is a restaurant on your right, Northwest corner). Drive along the street for 2 minutes passing by a hospital on your right. When you see a convenience store “Lawson” and bank, you are around JR Umahori station. See map for directions from JR Umahori station.
